This bold, textured bracelet is created using a wax mold formed from the bark of the beautiful Etna birch, then cast in bronze using the traditional lost wax method. The Etna birch (Betula aetnensis), similar to those found in northern European forests, has evolved over millennia to become endemic to the Mount Etna region. Its bark is known for its distinctive white-pink hue, which flakes off in horizontal bands. The lost wax process captures the natural details of the bark, resulting in an organic, sculptural design.
